Mission Statement
The Thornhill Historical Society leads the preservation of Thornhill's built, cultural, documentary, and natural heritage for the benefit of our community, through focused advocacy, events, and educational programming.
Goals & Objectives
Promote, research, and preserve the rich history of the Historical Village of Thornhill.
Advocate for the enhancement of the Historical Village of Thornhill including the preservation of the surviving remnants of the 19th and early 20th Century buildings.
Preserve the natural history that lends special character to the community.
Foster a community in an urban environment with a rich awareness of its past.
