Today, Thornhill Public School retains its tradition as a vibrant learning environment, filled with energy and school spirit. The reunion assembly and tea party was accompanied by a display of photographs and other documents and materials from the school's past. The Thornhill Archives was pleased to loan the original schoolhouse bell and the quilt made in 1944, with names of staff and students, for the occasion.
