General Meeting Thursday, November 26, 2009 Heintzman House, Thornhill Refreshments at 7.15pm Meeting at 7.30 pm Guest Speaker: Lynn Hodgson speaking about Camp-X. (the Second World War secret spy camp on the shores of Lake Ontario) Mr Hodgson was born in Toronto. He is the author of Inside Camp-X which has sold over 35,000 copies worldwide. A successful business man for thirty-five years, he is the Past Director of the Camp-X Historical Society and is now a volunteer at the Camp-X Museum in Oshawa. Mr Hodgson won the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for 2004 from the Ontario Heritage Foundation. This will be followed by Committee Reports and the Election of Officers for 2010. |
